What about bringing one in from a neighbouring country as "scrap" if there's no engine ?
The guys always refer to Springbok Importers when posts are put up for import issues.
Maybe give them a call and see what can be done.

Should be I think.
I saw a few years back a guy imported a SWB FJ40 Land Cruiser from Oz in a container and built it up.
Maybe worth a look.

Ask Dawid Volschenk,
He will know, given that he opts to import the cars in bits from neighbouring countries, and then sell as spares in SA.
