I've come across a nice project vehicle for someone who might be interested.

His son bought it, went on holiday with it, came home and decided to strip it down and rebuild it.
Vehicle hasn't been back together since 2013.
The chassis, engine, gearbox and axles have all been done.
The body started to show a bit of rust, so he started cutting out the rust.
Rust is mainly around back windows and drip rails.
All the interior, glass and lights have been taken out and stored.

The son has decided to go overseas and the old man is selling the vehicle off, because he doesn't have time and space for it.
He is emailing me photos tonight.
I'll post them as soon as I get them.

Dustin, this sounds like a really good project.
Its just sad that I am in Gauteng...... would really love a GQ

Spoke to George now asking for the photos.
He says someone from Robertson is coming tomorrow to view. He has 'booked' it and is already wanting to pay for it.
George says if the deal falls through, he will send photos so I can post them.

Also spoke to George this morning told me the same thing can be a good project

No chance it is a factory turbo. GQ's are the work horses and did not have factory turbo's fitted.

I looked at it, rust bucket of note, hope none of you okes bought it. Been standing for three years without windows and stuff outside in Seaview. Both front hubs stripped, no air filter fitted.
