Softroader trip to Bots and Vic Falls

Times are getting few!!! Leaving on 23 April for a short visit to Bots-my first - and Vic Falls.
Saturday 23 April - Alberton to Khama via Groblersbrug for 1 night. Hoping to get away at 3am and still leaving a little time to spend in the afternoon at Khama.
Sunday 24 - 26 April - Khama to Elephant Sands north of Nata for 2 nights.
Tuesday 26 - 30 April - Elephant Sands to Senyati Safari Camp near Kasane for a few days in Chobe and surrounds.
Saturday 30 April - 2 May - Vic Falls Rest Camp for 2 nights
Monday 2 - 3 May- VicFalls to Nata Lodge for 1 night on the long road home.
Tuesday 3- 4 May - The last night at Big Fig Inn back in SA. Quite frankly this is the end!
Thursday 5 May BACK AT WORK

Vic Falls is absolutely jaw dropping. Pictures don't do it justice. Go across the bridge into Zambia and gain access to the falls via the hotel. We went out into the rock pools and looked out over the falls from that side.

No hidden question,just exitement, unless you have some information which is not common knowledge. Any advise is always welcome.
Once back I will definitely post a short report with some photos.
I'm sure there are folks out there with either limited time or funds- or both - who would like to do the easier trips first and I hope to help a bit with the report once done.

It's just that you posted in the trip quiery section...
The entry road to Senyati is pretty soft sand, and about as steep as it gets in Bots. But with intelligent tire pressure management you should be fine.

This post did not start out as a query or a question, but during some idle time(pun intended
) in the traffic today, I was thinking about my old vehicle and what extras to take on this trip.
There are obviously things like a well appointed tool set, fuses, stretch tape, pratley steel, but what about a belt set?
I think my 4.2 TB motor has 3 belts of different lengths.
Any suggestions?

Can't do any harm but unless your belts are tired it shouldn't be necessary.
You will find that Nissan in Bots has better stockholding than here, but if you want to you can get a belt kit from Marinus

Belt question
Was at outdoor Warehouse the weekend, saw they had an emergency "belt" that one can take along, it is an orange "belt" that one can fit and then cut according to required size.
Anybody seen/ used this?? -

Ek onthou my pa het altyd gese jy kan sykouse ook gebuik
. Die een keer toe ek dit kon toets was daar niemand naby met sykouse aan nie, en daarna nog nooit weer die geleentheid gehad om te toets nie
