So another long weekend, and before the winter settles in completely time for another Patrol camp.

We will be visiting Karee Krans just outside Rustenburg in the North West province - - http://kareekrans.co.za

There is a couple of options regarding accommodation depending on the size of the group.

The bush camp is one big site...you could fit about 4 tents / 3 bush caravans. The bush camp also requires proper 4x4 vehicles as the uphill to get out is graded a 4.

The river camp has 6 sites with 2 ablutions, no hot water .

Main Camp site has 9 sites. ablutions with warm water.

The main campsite is about 600m away from the river camp

The bush camp is about 2km away from the river and main campsite.

Cost is R90pppn for camping and R150 for 4x4 trail per vehicle.

Things to do

•4×4 trail (self drive) – Come and explore our 3 4×4 trails, all together 10.3km long with 36 obstacles ranging in grades from 2-5. This exciting trail will keep you on your toes for anything from 4 hours upwards. There are several look out points and braai areas to enjoy along the way as well as beautiful scenery. There is also a 4×4 play area as well as challenge that only 2 vehicles have ever been able to climb!
••Dam – the dam is the centre of attraction at Karee Krans. There is a foofie slide over the dam, 4 canoes to play in and plenty of tilapia and carp to catch.
•River – The river is a beautiful, peaceful place to have a braai or a picnic. Tubes can be used for a lazy float down the river.
•Fishing – We have a small dam hosting plenty of tilapia and carp as well as a stream running through the farm. Kids can have great fun messing around with their fishing rods.
•Swimming – Guests are welcome to swim in the dam, stream or our cement dam which has been converted into a pool.
•Canoeing / Tubing – There are 3 canoes as well as some tractor tubes available for guests to play around in the stream and dam with.
•Obstacle course – Come and test your strength and agility on our super cool obstacle course built in the blue gum forest. There are also 3 foofie slides at the obstacle course.

Hallo.
