Ek sal sukkel sonder my patrol en my bek was groot toe daar n 2014 op veiling kom.Dit is weer 4.8 grx met 13000 km so NOU HET EK WEER SKULD.
Ek het n 4.5 gehad en toe die 4.8 gekoop met die ome klaar in. Ek sal dit op die nuwe een ook laat doen.
Die hanteering op die grondpad is baie beter en die ry baie gladder.ek was al op n paar trips in die weskus asook in die duine,ek is nie n 4x4 slimkop nie maar my patrol het my nog altyd uitgehelp . ek kies nie n lyn nie maar bestemming, as daar n gat is is dit maar so. Ek dink daar is niks lekkerder as om die spoedkontrole aan te sit en die algemene rigting van die pad tevat en te vergeet van slaggate en sulke goed nie.

I'm thinking of the OME kit on my 2004 - 4.8 Patrol GRX, but it seems crazy to go with the standard 265/75 R16s.
Would really appreciate your advice.
The tyre dealership advise me not to increase diameter of overall tyre with more than 2.5%, but so many Patrol owners seem happy with much bigger tyres.

1) What tyres did you put with your OME kit? size? Manufacturer?
2) Did you stick with your 16inch rims?
3) What OME setup did you chose front & back?
4) How long did you have this setup before you sold your 2004 vehicle?

Grant, the 285/75R16 should be perfect for your vehicle.
If in doubt, contact Dawid, he's got a 4.8 and lives in Stellenbosch too.

Ek het die patrol in 2008 gekoop met 85000 km op die klok, hy het nou so136000km op.Ek het 185/75 /16 brigestone duelers op, die klok en gps spoed was 100 % dieselfde
op 120 km/h .
Ek het die naweek my 2014 een gekry met 14000km op , dood standaard . Het nou nog net n draai gery maar " there is nothing like new stuff " Die sitplekke is sommer hard, my vrou se dit voel vir haar of hy minder 'bodyroll ' het,ek dink dat hy sagter ry maar sal nog eers bietjie die kat uit die boom kyk ,en spaar.Ek mis die hoogte.
Jammer ek kan jou nie meer vertel van die ome nie maar ek is seker die forum ouens sal kan help.

Het toe die 285/75/16s opgesit, but I went for the Cooper ST Max's instead of the BFG. We'll see what happens. . . .too early to say.

A bit of touching under extreme turning but we'll sort that out.

Enjoy your new Patrol. Slightly envious but I've decided to stick with my wheels and spend a little on the car. . . . she deserves the love in return for the great years.
