Brake discs and pads

Good morning gents
For all of you out there in need of new brake pads and discs there are actually quite a few reasonably priced options available out there. Ferodo actually does the front and rear discs and pads the discs front cost +-R2000 for the front set. Pads about R550. Then there is a little higher performance option from vari racing brakes in edenvale now these I've tested thoroughly and I'mquite happy new slotted front discs with 2sets of pads and one set of rear pads set me back R4000. But stopping power is significantly improved to the standard factory stuff. Vari racing can even build calipers up to spec for any vehicle.

This is great news. I have an old MQ patrol c200 diff and was going to go with slotted disks when the Sani hubs were still on. I thought my chance of slotted disks were gone after the 83 MQ diff went in.

And if these guys can build/rebuild 30+ year old calipers fpr me, that would be a bargain. Hey, maybe I can even speak to them about a disk brake conversion on the H260 rear end.

I'll post some numbers and details just have to look it up. But service from them was awesome. And very quick they can build a caliper to spec right from scratch they just need the old sample. They even sell extreme performance pads as they build brakes for the big v8 racing cars.
