So I was surfing the net as always and came across this ad. I know Patrols are good value for money but this as far as I'm concerned is pure daylight robbery.

Lets do the maths. R5500 x 48 months = R 264 000 + R 25 000 deposit = R 289 000. SERIOUSLY? This all for a 1999 vehicle with 280 000 km. Oh and if you interested in making a cash offer, R 180 000 will be considered.

Gents am I being unreasonable or is something wrong with this picture?

I have seen this car in Bloem. Looked nice, but not R180 000 or R289 000 nice. I think this is a chanser trying to make a quick buck. A fool is easily parted with his money. Do hope nobody falls for this.

That is a rip I have been looking around at a lot of Patrols and you can buy a good 2007 GRX with under 100k km for R250k .

R100k would be more realistic for this one

The sad thing is I have been on the look out for a patrol for more than 2 years now so I remember the one's that catch my eye and this was one of them. About 12-18 months ago this same vehicle was for sale for R120 000 cash.
