Borakalalo Nature Reserve Road Cleaning

Good day Guys,
I’m a member of Friends of Pilansberg (FOPS) but are working at Borakalalo NR (Klipvoor Dam) – this is my 9th year with FOPS.
We were at Borakalalo this weekend and had to clear two of the walking trails, gut the grass in our camping area and I worked on our store room.
What we also found is that the roads are full of tree branches that will scratches your vehicle and when we work there next month we need to clean the roads by gutting off a lot of tree branches.
We need about 20 people to help us and we can have 10 vehicles to camp in our camp site. I want some of our Nissan Off-Road Club members to join us on the 6-8th of February and it will only cost you R20-00 per person to camp in our camp site!
We only need to have a bit extra loppers and saws to cut the branches – we do have a couple in our store room.
Our camp site does not have electrical power but we have gas heaters in the bathrooms.

Please advise me who will join us next month to help us and camp with us on the 6-8th of February. We will start working on the Saturday at 07h00 and should be back in the campsite at 12h00 for lunch and depending on the heat we might start working on 14h00 again.

Kobus, ek sal graag kom maar sal eers met die regering moet onderhandel.

Ek het darem my eie saag.

Kan 'n teerpad-karavaan in die kampterrein kom?

Camping at the HO / FOPS campsite alongside the Moretele River is Fish Eagle Camp name just after the Moretele Tent Camp site.
