Hi everyone

First off thanks for the add to this forum!! Hope to have many chats on here..
Let's start off with this:
In 1 week I found two brilliant Patrols both 3.0l GL's and both got sold out from under me by two different dealers..
I am furious!! I know they are (dark side) (grenades) (oil burners) but they are truly what I want!! I would love a Petrol as well but
my boss (wife) is concerned about me spending more time at the local pump then at home... lol!
Just kidding!!

SO! here I am looking.. any one that knows of any patrols 3.0l and lets look at 4500 as well tha'st for sale.. especially ones where I can chat to the owner and really get a feel for the patrol..

please comment or even drop me an sms 082225149, I am Not festive this season cause I was suppose to be Patrolling already!!

Thanks Marius

Have a look here

A 4.2 Diesel GQ with 300,000 km.
http://www.autotrader.co.za/makemodel/m ... query=null

There ir also a 3td GU model with autobox. The autobox on the diesle is also not common. If autos is your thing.

If in Gauteng area, you can ask Pathmaker (Graham) to check out the car for you.

Buy a 4.8. The oil price is not going anywhere for a long time. Saudi Arabia's pumping costs are between five dollars and six dollars a barrel and they are sitting on $900,000,000,000 worth of the stuff and trying very hard to create a glut that will put pressure on the US and Russian operations. They also have a view that renewable technology is going to replace oil and that they have a limited window within which to sell their product. With the problems with the 3.0 engine, the odds are good that over the future you are going to spend more on maintenance and repair costs than you will spend on the fuel difference costs between the two motors… And you will have peace of mind and increased reliability!

Okay, I will shut up now.

Good luck in your hunt!

Spoke to the dealer regarding the price as I feel its a bit much, but I got this funny feeling I cant trust the guy he sound "dodgy"

Agree the right one will find me if its a 3.l or 4.5 or a 4.8 the right one is out there at the right price..
