Fuel Level Chart

Hi folks,
since I have the guzzling 4.8 petrol, keeping an eye on the fuel gauge is crucial, unfortunately you can't hookup a scangauge to the patrol, o give you a good idea on the level of fuel left, with kms allowed to travel at current consumption, etc etc .

So I came up with the following, this is based on a 40l sub-tank and a 95l main tank. The remaining litres are estimated by re-fueling when the needle of fuel level reached the marker on the fuel gauge, so consider 5 litre error.

For increased accuracy and peace of mind, simply use the odometer. You know very well what type of driving has been done and what the range on the tank should be.

My fuel gauge is temperamental. I think it actually measures the humidity in the air or something. But the odometer never failed me.
