I haven't had a look at the test yet....iam a big cooper and bf fan the st are ok for overlanding but I still like the look of a set of muddies .....that just me a car needs to look the part. ...my patrol rolls with muds with stong side walls that has proper load rating...I have had different tipe of tires on my car and it makes no difference if its muddies or at tires regarding feul consumpsion. ...the difference comes in on your odo not your speedo you need to ad 5% extra on km when running 33
More importantly tires must have air in makes big diff on feul when driving below 2.4 bar cold

Best Tyres that I have had, had to be BF get about 100000km off them with minimal puctures

Or the old RV 180 (general I think) was also a good tyre!

Gents,
I have heard so many comments on the life of the BF's. Look at how they performed in the wet.
A simple equation we should be using is cost per km. Price of tyre with the milage recorded. That will give a far better indication than just life.
Love the Discovery AT3 performance and off road they have also done very well. Surprised my after taking of my Maxxis Bighorns.
This thread is about the AT tyre test and not the test between AT vs MT.
