That brings back some great memories of when we did that trip last year..... what a beautiful place, but that snotty stuff can catch you unawares very quickly....hahaha

Hi Tony. Thank you for sharing your trip with us and posting those great pics. As Ricster said, they bring back a lot of very fond memories.
Gee, we here in SA are so lucky to have so much, so close for us to venture into. I am sure many many scores of Europeans, and elsewhere, must envy us and for the majority of them, a trip into our Africa is a once in a life time experience.
As yet, most of it is still unspoiled, or at least tolerably unspoiled, but that might not be for too long.
By the way Tony, did the (wild?) horses come into your campsite in Kubu during the early hours of the morning?

Nope, no wild horses that we saw, not even any spoor - just pure peace and silence in the night, although it would have been nice to have heard some wild sounds during the night! And yes, Gupster, I agree, we are very fortunate to have so many wild places close by that we can explore - it makes life worth living for !!
