Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

Hi everybode,
It is time to move on. The boys are out of school and it is time to scale down.
I have a 2010 Jurgens XT120 with Howling Moon Trailer tent. Included are both front and rear awnings, wall set, 2x tables(as can be seen in pic1), 2 chairs and 4 storage boxes.
Selling for R65000 negotiable.
Everything has been very well looked after and in excellent condition. This is an amazing setup, but I just do not have the energy to put this all up on my own very time I go away for aweekend.

Spectacular setup! What do you plan to replace it with?

I've always been opposed to trailers but with my son now - no choice. Thanks in part to Stefan I got a Metalian Mini (a used one at a very good price!) and have just this morning made my first cup of coffee on the cooker I finished installing at about 5am. Yet for all that, I always think that the idea should be to keep it all as simple as possible - especially if your travelling is mobile and you're on the move every day or second day, which is how we used to travel way back before my lad was born. This is also is why I have gone with an Oryx 300 Turbo tent (it's actually just a rebranded Australian Blackwolf 300 turbo tent) and some decent stretchers from Natural Instincts (all just acquired in the last 2-3 weeks). I'm even considering ditching the Engel fridge - which I've had for 13 years - as we are not big red meat eaters and it hardly seems worth the hassle of the second battery et al (though I'll probably have to do that for other reasons anyway) though I must say that an ice cold Grapetiser or even just plain water in the middle of the Kalahari heat is a real blessing! Hmm...think I'll keep the fridge! :-)

For what it's worth, I compared yesterday setting up the turbo tent with my old Campmor 2.4 x 2.4 bow tent. Ye gods! No comparison at all. The turbo tent doesn't take much more time to open or close than my old Howling Moon rooftop tent although one also has the stretchers but I find the Natural Instincts stretcher takes literally about 60 seconds to fold and place in its bag. Not too bad really.

Anyway, apologies for the hijack - R65k seems like one heck of a bargain for all that kit and its absolutely ideal for beach holidays in Mozambique and that kind of thing. There's a small part of me that's secretly envious at the holidays that it all promises! I hope it brings the next family much joy.

Incidentally, the first pic was taken in Moz in December 2011.

I already acquired a quick pitch canvas tent. The next will be a kitchen/dining unit- considering the one from Tentco- then a mattress/bed of some kind. Amazing how much a person collect over thr years.

And then I need to replace the trailer. I will see what is available at the outdoor show at the end of the month.
My Troll already has a drawer system which accomodates the fridge and most other essentials, so the trailer will be basic and the smallest offroad available.

That looks sweet my friend, I'm looking at a Barakha trailer at the moment, but that is MUCH smaller tent wise!!! That is a good price for ALL that !!

Cedric, you wont believe how much fits into a trailer. On that trip to Moz I also had a full roofrack. Good thing I never got pulled onto a weigh bridge!!
