Good day everyone,
I've been a bit out of action for the last few months.... too many work and family commitments.
But lets get cracking and get together for a great drive at one of my personal favorite trails.
The drive will be on the Saturday morning, and then a braai can be had afterwards with a few cold ones to have a few laughs and giggles.
There is camping and chalets available at Berakah, but if you wish to camp over for this event, please arrange this directly with Berakah.
http://www.berakah.co.za/
Lets meet at the grass area at the start of the trail at around 09:00 so as to get the tyres deflated and a drivers briefing done and then we set off at 10:00.
1. Deon Wilmans + Saterdag aand kamp.

Eish this trail ripped one of my tyres apart! Be careful at the middle trail section where you start with the climb by the pipes. The have a silly crowbar welded that joins the pipes together, the bar is not smoothed off and ripped the inside wall R4300 lesson due to bad trail design

I chose NOT to ride the pipes due to overgrown vegetation and paid the price.
Still like the trail though for it's angles.

Any one else going?
One doesn't have to camp over if you don't want to. This is one of the most attractive trails around, with different driving conditions throughout the trail

I am at the moment 60% of going! Only an estimate.
Will update during the course of the week as the probability changes.
Will only drive through for the day though.
Thabbies, you may know from the community forum that the Rhino challenge, although not open to the public, is still opened on selected days for pre-scrutineered vehicles.
I will still do it, once I have front lockers and 35" tyres, but your shortie should be ready for it.
Not yet for me, but one day...

Cedric, the one picture above was you navigating me down and very wet slippery slope. That was nerve wracking stuff (February 2012).
It should not rain on Saturday though.
Aren't you going?

My Patrol gaan more panelbeater toe om die agterdeur na die ongeluk reg te maak en ek weet nie wanneer ek hom terug kry nie!
