Hi everyone
Een van my vriende hier innie Baai het vandag voor my gery met sy GQ singlecab bakkie, sy linker agterwiel wobble , hy kom toe net van TWT waar hul die wiele gebalanseer het , hy het BFG MK2 Muddies op nog redelik nuut en hy het nie standard Patrol rims op nie maar aftermarket rims.
Dit is 15duim 10j rims, en die bande het seker so 50000km op
Die vraag wat kan oorsaak wees dat net een wiel n wobble het ?

Jules, it could be a bent rim or bad tire, but the wheel balancing should have shown this up (if they knew what they were doing and were paying attantion).
It could also be that they didn't put the wheel back on properly. Unlikely, but possible.
If not one of these, I believe these vehicles have fully-floating rear axles (if there is a row of smaller bolts on a smaller diameter than the wheel bolts, this is the case). If that is so, it could be a wheel bearing issue.
If it not a fully-floating axle, then it's a bent sideshaft.

Jules het al n paar keer met non standard rims gesien dat die binneste ring wat oor die hub gaan daai 2mm te klein is ?? Weet jy wat ek bedoel ? Maw as die wiel vas gemaak word sit hy nie plat teen die hub nie so check net mooi dit kan wees dat daai rim dalk die spare was en nie altyd op die voertuig gebruik was nie . Meet en kyk .....
