Hi, my name is Michael Steyn and I'm a new member on the site
I recently bought a 2001 Patrol GU with a cracked cylinder head on auction and I just had to join this forum after reading the posts from Andre Steyn and ricster.
I love working on my own cars and have received this passion from my father since I could barely walk. He is a mechanic and I is a wonderful coach (dankie pa!!)
I have started rebuilding the engine and the info on the site is very helpful.
Ill post some pics of how far I am with the project and hopefully get some pointers from the pro's. The vehicle isn't in top shape and there is a lot of things to be done.
