Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

Hi my name is David and I am a Nisanoholic currently in the shady world of Hardbody owners and am seriously thinking of migrating to the dark underworld of Patrol owners.

I used to contribute to the Nissan Owners website as "DavidM" and have met a couple of you personally.

Leaving for Kosi Bay tomorrow night so will start posting etc in a weeks time.

8. Current 4x4: 2001 Hardbody V6

9. Current Mods: Lots but it still does not make it a Patrol

10. Mods on wish list: Upgrade vehicle

11. Vehicle on wish list: 4,5 EFI Patrol

12. Previous 4x4's: 3 Nissans and a Toy

13. Last 3 offroad or overland destinations: Pomene, Kosi Bay and Transkei. I don't go 4X4 ing but need to use a 4X4 to get to the places I go Saltwater Flyfishing.

14. Your favourite destination: Coast between Beira and Zambezi Delta

15. Other hobbies: Flyfishing

16. GPSr and Map Data used: Garmin Montana 600 with standard mapset.

17. Rate your 4X4 and overlanding experience: Plenty really rough stuff particularly with swollen rivers, mud and sand but not much of the rough stuff.

Thanks for the invite but I get back from Kosi on Thursday and my business partner leaves on Friday so I will definetly be working the whole weekend

Thanks Vanessa. Based on many posts I have read on the forum it is my intention to come and chat to you guys about what to look out for before I even start looking.
