Hi Walter,

Sorry but I had a y60 radiator and donated it to a needy member. I have a custom made radiator fitted that is twice as thick and works allot better.

ST Spares in Durban are stripping a Patrol - contact no 031 8112492

Do I get it right:
3k for a new one from tombo JNB or
6k for a second hand one from Graham ?

Is the new one also Alu - Plastic or is it copper?
Any damage on the original one?

Tombo takes a allu core and builds you a perfect one with allu tans the nissan one is avalible beacouse he likes the build ones more. Stay away from copper radiators on your patrol ...allu head and water pump not a good idea you wil see the battery effect soon after fitting it

Tinus, can I come back to you tomorrow?
If we go for the deal on the original one, where would it have to be collected / paid?
Where would I meet Graham / contacts?

On the copper one, I have built in a 3 core copper after my original got buggered twice about 5 - 6 years ago. Still doing the job.
Maybe long term, but touch wood, so far so good.

Thanks Tinus, good lead.
Cheers
Walter

Copper radiators are great but with allu heads and water it makes a battery it eats the allu away and puts it onto the copper ...
some times it takes longer but a lot of guys had problems with that .
graham has both of the radiators in stock he is away on training but will try get hold of his wife for you
