Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

Well, timed it perfect again...4 years in a row now. Heavy falls for 2 days.... i was the only one on the reserve again for the 1st 24hours... Got there thursday evening in the blizzard, and it snowed till sat afternoon..... incredible.

Last 3 years we had heavy falls and i only managed to get 3/4 to conical peak in very deep snow (only vehicle on the reserve) but hiked the rest..,....... but this was something else.... i made it about 350m up the trail and it was simply a NO-GO day.... deeeeeep snow and falling heavy non stop.. deep drifts further up and was never gonna happen. Ended up making soup and tea off the tailgate and enjoying the mountain to myself for most of it.

Hell man every time I see your "awsem'' snow pictures I just know I still need to do that. That is on my bucket list even if I do hate the cold.
I love how you always include your four legged friend.
Very nice dog and he seem to enjoy it just as much.

Yes, Angus is his name, he's a little over a year old now,...my best friend. He loves going everywhere with me and is the best travel partner i've ever had. Sits on the front seat like a Boss!

I highly recommend a day in the snow it really is fun, making coffee on the tailgate, enjoying the beauty. Amazing every time.
