Washer pump grommet

I replaced the water tubes on my Y60's windscreen washer system this weekend, as they were so perished the water was running out the sides of the tubes.
But I unplugged the pump from the tank to do it, and now that grommet seems to be leaking (either that or the pump itself). Does anybody know if this grommet is common to any other Nissan's and whether a normal spares shop might have it?

Is that the round black rubber that the pump inlet pushes into?.... I would think it is almost a standard rubber throughout the manufacturers, or at least Nissan.
What about a thin film of silicone over the pipe that fits into the bottle, more to just seal the gaps in the perished rubber?

Hi Peter,
Did mine about two months ago, and Nissan do not sell the seal on its own. You have to buy the complete pum assy. I went to about three differant parts stores with no luck, so all iI did was add some silicone as Cendric said. Worked very well.
Suggestion is to remove the left fron head light for easier access to the pump area and this will also help when fitting the pipe back on. Make sure when you fitt the pipes back on you do not dammage the seal of silicone you just put on.

I used Gardinia pipes. You can buy the rubber ones, not the hard plastic ones. I think I payed something like R35 for a 10m roll. Worked well and are still going. Not to sure if it will last forever, but they should last a couple of years.

Rudolph, same as Marino, I used the black rubber hose sold for micro-irrigation systems. It is actually about 1/2mm smaller than ideal, so just heat the end of the pipe in hot water for a few seconds, then it slips on easily.
Cedric and Grant, thanks. I was hoping to avoid silicon, but I guess that's the way it's gonna be.

Try the Datsun 1400 bakkie -- also a Maxima and then look at Sentrs [2nd series, or evebn the Primera [Almera ?? I think not]
If no luck - look at the Mazda Etude or 626 series and lastly teh Ford Mazda bakkies of about same year model.
The gardene hose ?? will it last in the heat of the engine bay ?
