The 4.8 did start in 2004!

Yes, this model did coem out in 4.8 (same as Tinus' vehicle), in its last year of manufacture. The newer shape came in late 2004.

Some truth there. Not a great car for everyday use from a fuel consumption perspective.

Don't worry, I use my 4.2 diesel everyday, for short trips as I work 7Km from home and even mine is not light from all the stop start driving

Get a good 4.8 for 140k at 5.5km you can put a lot of feul for 350k for any other one like a toyota d4d or ford ranger that goes for 500k new dont know how far you need to drive before you get even ????
