Ian's Thing...

When Ian T bought his GQ, he asked me to make him a winch mount. By the time we were through with speccing it, it had become a winch mount, recovery points, hi-lift jack points and bash plate all in one.
It fits between the chassis legs and can work with the standard bumper, and should fit most of the large low-profile winches. I would however recommend using a rope rather than a cable, as access will be difficult.
Unfortunately by the time I had built it, Ian had bought a GU and is now selling the GQ, and the GU comes with a winch bar.
So this device is now for sale. It will fit a GQ, and may well fit GU 4.5, 4.2D and 3lD, but not the 4.8, but I am not entirely sure about that.
This is what it looks like:
It is available for R1500 or make Ian T an offer he can't refuse?
