I just mentioned this morning to a friend that the best thing about the Patrol is that I never have to wonder if I can take a certain route. Been in Kaokoland during the July holiday and was always able to just carry on no matter the road conditions.

EVERYTHING - Especially all the mods done thus far!!!!
I would sell my house, my other house, my flat, my car, my bakkie, my boat, my quads (maybe even the wife!!!) before I sell my Patrol and my Conquerer Trailor!!!!
If I have to I will go and live Jerry Springer style in a trailor park - but my Patrol is going nowhere!!! 
(Do we have Jerry Springer style trailor parks here is SA???)

I love the looks, the feel, the sound, its ability and its reliability. My Troll (96)is my life style. Second is my Conquerer Safari (01)tailer. They go hand in hand and give the (bar my wife) the most pleasure in my life.

Jacques, if I were closer to AD i would be there regularly. Only had the trol there once and wow what a revelation of 8 years of diesel.
Once considered it to move to Philidelphia to work in Cape Town. That would have cost me dearly though because I would have spend more days in the dunes than at home.
