I'm suspicious of these figures, they are too good to be true. Thats my concern. Perhaps SAC think showing figures like that will make my dad happy but it scared me. I had a look at a 4.5 they had there too and it was almost identical kw but way less torque.

In truth though here some test drive results, on the hill from Irene back to Kempton.
Stock - easily get 140kmh
Stock with canopy aka parachute 90kmh
Dyno with canopy 140kmh in 5th.

On his recent 2-3 week trip to Kruger he says he drove around 100 but didnt hesitate to overt take at 130 he averaged around 7.3kml.

They say they havent touched the turbo, but instead did down pipe and freeflow and pump timing. Previously the car would stall in first with the canopy unless you rode the clutch quite a bit, now you just drop the clutch and idles with the load no hassle. You really dont feel the load it feel super light.

Some people said they couldn't open the ABOVE so here's a screen shot

Those are some impressive figures.... and not that unbelievable either. Those 4.2 diesels are not shy on the power and torque!!

I believe that SAC Centurion now have a diesel Guru doing the dyno set up
