Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

Anybody know the GUD air filter part number for a 2009 4.8 Patrol?

Not sure BUT Pitpetoors hinted that it was the same as the 3.3 Hard body ..

I have the GUD air filter catalogue, and it doesn't show any filter. I found a Ryco Filter ( but in Australia) but cannot even find a cross reference on the GUD catalogue

I know the normal NIssan filter is less than half price in the UAE compared to price here in rip-off land.

Yeah, it's crazy.... My 4.2 diesel has the ZD30 airbox and filter. Nissans price is ridiculous, but when you ask the spares shop for an AG 1028 air filter..... It doesn't exist!! I am using a Mann & Hummel filter ( supplied by GUD with their sticker on the Mann & Hummel box), but it isn't exactly the same. This is the second filter I'm using, but I don't think it seals quite like it should..... the search goes on...

Best option would be a snorkel with pre- filter and then a K&N lifetime filter.

I have a K&N ZD30 filter if anyone is looking.

I also have one.... but they are crap in dusty conditions even with a snorkle, the oil dries out after a few hundred Km and the dust cakes on the filter restricting airflow dramatically. They work very well in the beginning though
