Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

Hi,

my specs: Jens, 44, born in Germany, since 3 years in Namibia, mech. & elec. engineer, IT expert.
Since 4 weeks owner of a used Nissan Patrol 4.8, built 2003, 113000km, to replace our beloved Landrover Series IIIs with a 3.9l Perkins diesel engine.

Our Patrol has an Old Man Emu suspension and an Air Lift Supension on the rear axle.
At the moment I'm fitting a dual batterie, fridge mountings, tools drawer in the back.
Next buy will be a roof carrier with awning and some jerry cans due to the thirsty machine.

Hope to get/give suggestions and ideas in this forum.

We are doing big tours into the remote areas of Namibia, 90% camping.
