Hi Almal,

I am very much a novice when is comes to 4x4ing and overlanding. Starting this thread I am thinking this might help all the other rookies out there starting out on theyre first overlanding etc to have the basics in a toolbox or bag?

So you proffesionals! What basics should you have in your bag/toolbox when overlanding in a Patrol:

Thank you :salute:

A petrol card.

Jack, wheelspanner, tire repair kit, some fuses and bulbs, some self-fusing tape, Pratley Steel, bailing wire, a few screwdrivers and sets of sockets, spanners and allen keys minimum. Good to have some gloves (should be in your recovery kit anyway) and a few plasters and hand cleaner as well.

A good multimeter could be worth it's weight in gold too.
