I joined a while back, but since I made my first post tonight, I thought I'd do the intro thing as well.
1. Name: Barto de Koning (Zantus)
2. Birthday and Age: 17 June, 31
3. Town and Country of residence: PE
4. Home Language: Afr.
5. Occupation/Business: Mechanical Engineering Design of special purpose machinery.
6. Family status: No family
7. Membership - Other 4X4 Clubs and Forums: Too many to mention
8. Current 4x4: Mitsu 3.2DID Triton Clubcab
9. Current Mods: 32" MTR, snorkel, bashplate, rocksliders, VHF, 29meg, OME Nitrocharger Sport suspension on the ship from Aus.
10. Mods on wish list: Just need to get a canopy and sort out the camping stuff
11. Vehicle on wish list: 4.8 GRX, obviously, but for now I'm looking for an old Patrol to build up an offroad racer.
12. Previous 4x4's: Series 2A Landy, 2.8D Hilux, Suzuki SJ410, 80-series 4.5(with quite a few mods), Isuzu 280DT d/cab, Hilux with Lexus V8 and 35's, Discovery V8
13. Last 3 offroad or overland destinations: Just lots of trail in the Eastern Cape
14. Your favourite destination: Baviaanskloof
15. Other hobbies: Anything to do with 4x4's
16. GPSr and Map Data used: 60CS, T4A & Garmap
17. Rate your 4X4 and overlanding experience: I'm not really an overlander. I know how to handle a 4x4 well enough and I've been driving one since I was 17.
