Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

i need to pick your brain .....like most patrols mine has seen a fair amount of mud and dust
when the high pressure washer meets the bonnet liner all things go wrong
so i had a look at marks one same problem . the stealers want like 3 k for a new one
has any body made a plan that works i was thinking cover with canvas or some material that can be washed without falling apart ???
what do you think ? lets make some plans ......

Tha fast and furious crowd has some temperature isolation stuff, a foam with a aluminium covering. Maybe a sheet of this will be stiff enough to use, not sure what it will do with under bonnet temps though.

I wanted to get a plan to make the existing liner more wasable and more cleaning friendly my liner as well as Marks one is all in tact mabe cover with ripstop and replace grommets that keeps it in place the veldt on existing one is pulling apart
