GTR and Z Owners Club of South Africa
NISSAN South Africa together with the GTR and Z Owners Club of South Africa are hosting a Reach For A Dream event on Saturday 1st December 2012 at the Zwartkops Raceway, which is located on the R55 motorway just north of Johannesburg. Time 08h00 to 12h00.
The event has been designed primarily to provide a fun day out for a bunch of deserving youngsters from the Reach For A Dream Foundation, giving each of them an opportunity to ride in an Awesome Nissan GTR and Z car around this historic racetrack.
More though than just providing a memorable day out for these young boys, we want to see what can be done to raise funds for the foundation, who reach out to some 30.000 children each year. In so doing the Reach For A Dream Foundation helps so many young children to make their dreams come true, giving them hope and encouragement to fight the life threatening illnesses these brave youngsters have to live with.
Some of us from the GTR and Z Owners Club have had the privilege to meet up with Natalie Lazaris from the foundation, and I have to say, it’s hard to hold back on the tears when you hear and read about the children’s dreams that have been fulfilled by this very worthy cause.
I would encourage you all to go to their website www.reachforadream.org.za and have a peak for yourselves. I know I am asking myself……”Why haven’t I been a supporter?! “
If you are able in any way to distribute this request through your business contacts, friends and family, you would be doing something really special to help these children live beyond their dreams
Please help us, to help Reach For A Dream put smiles on the faces of children fighting life threatening illness.
We are asking each and everyone, to look into their hearts, and find a way, no matter how small, to make a donation, either on the day at Zwartkops Raceway, or by depositing a contribution to this very worthy cause.
