Kruger Park long weekend

Hello All
Returned last night from a short weekend in Kruger National Park. Stayed in Letaba Camp at one of the camping sites.
We left on Friday morning at 0200 with a R1000 diesel in the tank, 4 children and off road trailer with all the camping stuff for the weekend, roof rack with rooftop tent and gas bottles on top.
Kruger remains one of my favourite spots in the world but the cost after reservations is getting a bit much. We had to pay R790 for conservation fees, a gas bottle should you have forgotten yours will set you back R610. A pie and a little chips is R39,00, Coke at R21.00 for a 2 litre.
BUT even at that cost it remains a wonderful place to be. Some photos attached.
As expected no hiccups, ran as smoothly as always. Only one complain, there was nowhere to put her in 4x4!!!! One spot overlooking the Olifants River there was a lot of sand at the view point, Lots of tracks where the lesser vehicles suffered to get up a little sandy incline. The Patrol did not even need high range 4x4, the Coopers just rolled up the incline with no effort at all.
Diesel stats:
Did 1540 km there and back with 198 litres of fuel. That is 7.7 km/l average. Keeping in mind the roof rack, off road trailer, and 6 people in the car, I am happy.
