Anyone ever used a Fiskars Axe?
There use to be an agent in South Africa, but seems to have seized doing business.
I am seriously looking for a Fiskars Axe, if anyone sees one please let me know.

I know a company here in CT called "Cutters" does very good axes and tree felling gear. But i have not researched it and do not know if they do Fiskars.

Russ, if they happen to do Fiskars, please let me know.
I've never used an axe like a Fiskars before. Makes my Cold Steel (which I happen to love) look like a hammer, not an axe.

Peter, yes, I can.
Other option is e-Vil-Bay, and 3rd option is buying the Gerber at Sharp Edge.

Hi Heinrich, I am going over to Sweden in couple of weeks. They sell them there, maybe I can bring one back if I get time to do some shopping. Let me know what model you want.

Dear oompie, if I had a Lasher I would also not have used it in 7 years.
When you see my Cold Steel, you will see an axe that does work. I prefer to not damage my vehicle, and remove branches where they are in the way. You can only remove a branch neatly with a proper axe.

A good axe is a great tool to have I prever a silky or hascavarna saw in my door panel have you tried these things ?????to cut a branch of 100mm takes about 15 seconds doesn't need any space on roof rack and opperates like a monster poket knife
