Roof Rack, awning & roof tent for Y60 Patrol For Sale

I looked at this very strong made aluminium rack for my 4.8 but will not fit without some mods ((Y61 gutter to gutter 50mm smaller that Y60). So friend of mine is putting on open market. It includes the awning AND a roof top tent (not sure what kind - he says it was almost brand new when he bought it in about 2002 when he got his Y60, and never used it.
Price - R6500 the lot.

The GQ is wider than the GU.

I am in the market for a roofrack. What will the mods entail to make it fit a Y61?
Where can I have a look at this.
Can I take a option on this till I have seen it, (on condition it is in Gauteng obviously)

I had a look at the roof rack. Verry nice but not going to work for my car.
Great buy if you are in the market, lots of extra brackets.

I modified the roofrack from a GQ to fit on my GU!

Hi Izak, I am on my way this morning to have a look at the roof rack after I saw your comment. I need one for my GQ. Nice to get a bit of reasurrance and not driving all the way from Witbank.

Glad I could help.
We might not be where the Land Rover owners are, flashing lights and all that, but I feel that the guys on the forum is a big extended family.
Ricster brought me a set of OME coils last night that he is not using for fitment on my Patrol. His comment on cost : " Fit it and if it works for you we can discuss price over a beer"
I will post the before and after photos verrrrrry soon.
