Flat spot and altenator

I bought my 1998 Patrol 4500GRX at the end of April 2011. It has had a flat spot at about 2500 RPM ever since. A week ago I had a battery package installed (National Luna). Three days ago the altenator gave up the ghost

. I had the altenator replaced (R4400 - Nissan wanted R16800 for a new altenator) with a new one (100Amp), and Voila!! The new altenator seems to work well AND the flat spot is GONE!!! My Patrol now spins smoothly through the whole rev range

R4400 , eina hel nou voel ek beter ekt my 3.0 sin vervang laasjaar vir net onder R1000 en gedink die industrie het mal geword sedert ek my werkswinkel verkoop het ,

Ek weet ek is nou van die topic af, maar waar het jy jou bonnet scoop en vents laat doen?
Ek wil dit ook met die tyd laat doen op my 4500GRX.

Jorrie ek dink nie om jou eie post te hijack is erg onwettig nie , my 3.0 het standaard met n scoop gekom maar ek het n pel in Vd Hoff weg Pretoria wat n meester is met veselglas , Gordons Custom Fiberglass , gee my n lui as jy reg is dan verduidelik ek jou waar is hy en kry ek jou daar
