Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

Hi all

I would like to find out about splash guards which help keep water and mud from going up into the engine area- coming in from the wheels.
I think these are called Inner fender liners?
For cars that are lifted I suspect the standard Patrol parts will not fit anymore.
What is the best material to use, rubber? and i so what rubber?
And what is the best way to fits these?

I think the standard covers are ok but witch model and how mutch lift???

It is the Y61 (2004). Pretty much like yours in the picture.
I do not want to order the standard covers if these will not fit anymore.
The chassis was lifted 50ml and the body was subsequently lifted by another 60ml (spacers)

To be more specific:
I suspect the space, (openennes) between the wheels and the engine is in actual fact due to the body having been lifted.
In other words I do not think there is a factory order that will cover this. I am also not convinced that one should necessarily cover this area. As it is currently, there is more air circulation when driving. Should one necessarilly protect the engine area from mud and water at the expense of restricting air cirulation? The starter is not anywhere near the side. I suspect that things like stones tend to shoot up towards the back.

If your vehcicle has ahd a body lift doen the standard cover will be to small , have that issue on my hardbody - just took them off and i am not having any trouble

Al wat ek daar sien werk is 'n stuk OZITE mat [hare kant wiel se kant, nie enjin olie kant nie] en dan eerde fris self tappers as daai "clips" wat elkgeval swakker gehalte is as Zwasiland se staatskantoor toiletpaier [of Grenspos witrol .. ewe erg]
