5W LED Waterproof Torches

Water-Proof LED Alumium Torrches.

These have been selling very well on the Hilux forum, so I figured I would share the details here as well. Reviews on their quality have been posted here. The Torch beam is exceptionally strong and comprises a brilliant white light, shining easily for some 100 Meters plus. It is impossible to look into the beam. The torch is tiny (130mm x 40mm at the reflector) and easily fits inside a handbag or cubby hole.

The torches are fully waterproof, constructed of high-quality black aluminium, and the beam they emit is something else! The idea is to keep them handy anywhere for those unexpected power-outs, working in dark corners, fumbling with locks & keys etc.

Batteries are not included, you will require three AAA batteries. Battery life ion the torches is excellent - I am still on my first set of batteries from a year ago and one can hardly see the difference in light output.

Cost:
R185.00 per torch, VAT included. Delivery R60.00 additional at normal Speed Services Overnight rates.

(The torches weigh in at around 200gms, so we can send a total of five torches for R60.00 if some guys from one area club together).

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

There are small little nick marks where the paint has come off. We used a black permanent marker pen to cover these marks. Seems they came off an assembly line and all fell in to a bin, resulting in these scuff marks. This in no way distracts from their functionality and it seems that the only one bothered by these marks is myself

All torches are brand new and we will test each one prior to shipping.

Stefan, most certainly.

We can send them normal postage (probably about R20.00?) or Speed Post overnight, at R60 for the three.

What I can do is send, say, six in a normal PO Speed Services bag to any main centre to one person. This will probably make it easier to arrange for collection locally.

For those who want torches, please send me an email to repcom at lantic dot net. (Drop the spaces and replace the 'at' and 'dot' with the appropriate characters.) In the email, please state your locations and I will try and arrange for a 'group delivery'.

Hi Eric

You can put me down as the Cape Town connection.
So if there is a big enough demand - bulk post to me and I will handle distribution in CT area.
I am based in the Northern Suburbs and my wife works in town, so as long anyone who orders one is able to collect in CT central or Durbanville, I will be the warehouse!

I will pm my details since I will be ordering a couple for myself as well!

Thanks for the heads up and the offer.
Herbie

Oom Mac & Herbie, noted!

I can fit 6 in a single Speed Post Parcel for R60 total. If there are more people who want, then I can also send them ordinary parcel post for around R20 postage for 10 torches.

Herbie, how many torches would you require? Stefan is taking three so I can send at least 6 to you in one Speed Services bag, if Stefan is in close proximity to you?
