Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

hi guys , does any one know if there is an adapter available to fit a zd30t van type engine into a patrol as the blocks differ and my bellhousing does not match
the zd30t bakkie engine ,i also need a td42t1 engine 4.2 diesel turbo complete , will appreciate the help

Definately not available off the shelve. It can be engineered though. Quite a few places should be able to assist you.

The 4.2 will be a straight fit.only need to drill and tap one starter hole.

These ones are as scares as they come - not frequently found lying around.

Phone Mynhardt/Gerhardt at Steves Auto Clinic; CENTURION - they had an adapter manufactured to fit a H/B engine to Agarob - but the engine was no good - so the had the orifinal engine overhauled - the adapter should therefor still be wioth them... and available

I made a huge mistake For the Bakkie Geabox the engine will fit,but I forgot about the two top bolt holes.They differ.In my opinion you dont need them.There are enough bolt to hold the two together and they sit on two locating pins.Your choice.Sorry for the first post.it slipped my mind.

Bazz Frans - when Agarob's engine vrekked of handgranaat - SAC tried to fit an import 3.0 di, but it would NOT fit the gearbox [starter sits opposite sides, and some other poo - thye HAD to make that adapter plate'

Now i is wondrin' - did they fit different engines in the Patrols up to 2002??

Weetie,maar Pieter het die bakkie engine vir my gebring en toe verskil die boonste boude.die starter het net n gat gekort vir die 4.2 op die 3l se klokhuls. Om sy convertion te laat werk moet hy die 4,2 se starter gebruik op die 3l se ratkas en die gatjie boor en tap.dan hoef die engine nie te worry watterkant die starter van hom sit nie.
