Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

Hi Guys

In Feb my engine, ZD30, failed - sounded like a big end on no3 or 4 cylinder.

After some saving and plan making I have ordered an engine from Reman, also ZD30, and it will be dispatched on Monday the 1st

The Patrol is in at MaCarthy Nissan Woodmead, who will do the transplant, I have asked them to service the diesel pump and injectors.

Any ideas on anything else to do ? Other than get a 4.2

Hi Miner, sorry to hear that.
What was your mileage, and what did the engine do when it packed up.
I will do the pump , injectors and turbo.
How often did you change oil 5 or 10 th kms?
Also what the cost of the rebuild engine?
