Before the trip to moz, i took the Trol to Richard at Big Country for a roof rack and a bash plate.

Very happy with the bash plate, which is a custom job oout of 6mm stainless steel.

Even moved the recovery point forward, which i was fortunate enough to test on a toyota hilux stuck in the soft pomene sand

It gives all the necessary protection for my intercooler pipes etc.

Thanks - got her in May this year, have done almost 9,000km already

Had to register her in JHB before going to Moz.. i was sad to see the NW plates go, and being a KZN guy, putting on GP plates is always a hard pill to swallow.... not to mention that with the new aluminium plates the drill into your car

As everyone above asked already- Price for bash-plate? Price for R/rack?
How long did it take to install?

Gentlemen

The bottom 1/3 of that plate is entirely unsupported, and that is exactly where I would expect it to need strength?

While it looks great, in my opinion it is almost useless. If you guys give me till desember, I am sure I can come up with something better. And since I know what he paid, I can confidently say mine will be cheaper too.
