Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

Hi Guys,

I am not sure if this is appropriate, so if Site Admin would like to delete this, I do understand.

I am busy planning a Charity event for a Childrens Home in Nylstroom (Its a two hour drive from JHB) and have loads of support. However, was thinking along the lines of a "Toy Run" for the home as well, except not with bikes, but with Patrols. And all the goodies collected from all over to be put inside the Patrols... I am sure the kids would be wowed by the vehicles.

Is anyone out there interested in this? If you are, please let me know and if we have enough Patrol's I can plan the event. We looking at either the 27th November or the second week in December.

I am also hoping that if we do this, we can perhaps put info up on our cars advertising the site. Would also like to get the local newspaper involved to take pics of the "Nissan Patrol 4 x4 Southern Africa Forum Group" supporting a charity...

Any takers?????

Awesome idea - like your line of thoughts...

Pity I stay in CT as I would not have mind to participate.......used to go on the annual biker's toy run in CT years back when I still had one. And with Christmas around the corner I think it is even a better idea.

Perhaps CT should consider doing something similar.....could even be a little "in house competition" between North and South......seeing that neither one managed the Curriecup!! Any Capies willing to participate in something like this??

Sorry Margo, I will miss yours as I have a work party in Borakalalo and I will also look at the 4x4 trail which the Nissan 4x4 Club might take over.

Oh, and the Nissan 4x4 Club will also do the AAWDC Charity run next year. Can you join the club and help us with the organizing of the event?
