Y61 4.5 Aircon Drain: Where is it?

I suspect that the aircon condensate drain is blocked on my Troll, so I need to investigate tomorrow.

I know that the water drips down somewhere on the left hand side of the car at the firewall, but where exactly is that drain outlet located? Could anybody perhaps give me a clue before I go search for it?

Thanks a million, Frans.

I was actually embarassed when I opened the bonnet at how easy it was to find, yet I had never noticed it before (despite having previously messed around in that area with the air filter, exhaust manifold, heat shield and diff lock solenoids  ).

Anyway, it is a bit of a mystery. I recently noticed a bit of dampness in the passenger footwell under the rubber mats. Because it did not smell like antifreeze and because the dampness did not return when I stopped using the aircon for a few days, I concluded that it was likely to be the aircon drain. I also noticed that no water condensate was dripping down under the car. When I checked there was, however, nothing obviously blocking the drain, so I stuck a suitably sized Allen key into the drain pipe opening to feel for any blockage, but I could find none. I have just taken the Troll for a nice long drive with the aircon going full blast and have checked the drain and water was dripping out as before. There is no sign of any water in the passenger footwell  . Any ideas?

Miskien moet jy die climatecontrol 'n bietjie warmer stel sodat die heater ook werk en dan kyk of daar weer nattigheid is.
