Fuse for stop lights keep popping

Good day,
I got another problem with my Patrol: the fuse for the stop lights keeps on blowing.
I am wondering, how many stop lights your Y61-models have. My ´99 Y61 has five, maybe that is a non-normal configuration?
There are two in the bumper, the middle ones in the rear lights and the top one in the door.
Do you only have three or five lights?

If you car is supposed to have 3 brake lights and you have 5, this is not the reason why the fuse is popping. Somewhere live is touching ground, that is what is popping the fuse.....

Thanks for the reply, that is also what I think it‘ll be.
I‘ll try to have it sorted out.
Best regards,
Florian

Good morning Peter,
your tip seemed to have been great: I didn't find the open part yet but after blowing in the trailer's plug and moving the cable going there the fuse stopped popping.
So obviously something is wrong there - have to check next time I am down in SA as unfortunately I was running out of time now.
Thanks!

Seconded. Most dead shorts are there. Otherwise, trace all wires and see if there is any rubbing or rodent damage.
