Good morning all.
Finally got mine fitted. Had to machine 0.50 to 0.60mm off the eggring to get circlip in. :oldtimer:

You also needed to fit the two bushes to keep it center and stop it from drifting

Hi Tinus, don't understand what bushes you are speaking about, are you referring to the eggring as bushes?

Yes but the one that comes with the hubs you throw away one set for keeping center and one set for stopping drifting of the side shaft

Ant send me these a long time ago as per turbo bakkie specks . If you had manual hubs before these should be there ...the difference comes in when you change from auto to manual all together and using those similar to the turbo bakkie or as you have posted ..the terrain taimers has their own ones build in

Hi Tinus, bought the hubs by David Volschenk, hubs are plug and play except for the geniune Nissan bush bought additional, and the relocating of the existing 2 x spacer washers and 1 x circlip, 2 x spacer you through and only relocate the 1 x circlip from inner goove to outer groove. Only slight problem, I had to machine down the bush so I could get the circlip into the outer groove. The hubs work 100%. The fitting was very easy and straight forward with these hubs from David, good quality to.
Getting back to your two pictures, the one is the bush the other I do not know what this is, this is how I fitted mine.
1. Removed auto hubs.
2. Removed 2xwashers and 1xcirclip from most inner groove of the shaft.
3. 1st Fitted the eggring, which came with the manual hubs. Slide fit pushed right in until stops.
4. 2nd Fitted the bush, geniune Nissan part, tap fit right in untill it stops.
5. 3rd fitted the manual hub inner gear into the geniune Nissan bush, slide fit.
6. 4th fitted 1xcirclip only in the most outer groove, the 2xwashers thrown.
7. 5th Fitted manual hub, tap fit as it recesses onto the genuine Nissan bush.
This is what I done and the hubs work 💯, I assume different makes models Patrol and hub brands, different fit....my baby1999 GU Y61 TDI 4.2 works beautiful.
I would love to hear from other users how they fitted
