Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

Evening All,

Due to leaving the country I am forced to sell my Patrol and am looking for an approximate value, unsure of where I could have/should have posted this hence posting here. I've already been out the country for a few years and looking to extend for some time more and the Patrol is sitting, so with a heavy heart it's time to sell.

She is a 2008 registered GU 3.0di Turbo diesel with ~168 000km's. Snorkel, Roof rack, mags, EMS engine monitor (EGT, Water temp, boost pressure), TJM front bumper with a winch, 33inch Maxis mud tyres with a 2" Lift. Metallic white in colour.

Around what sort of value does she represent. I have no clue as I have been out the country for a while.

She is sitting in PE at the moment at family. I would start this week with looking for a dealer to sell or a "we buy cars" or some such.

Hints would be appreciated.

The Patrols seem to be holding their value quite well lately, and , I would say their current market values arent matching what the dealer's little book will tell him, so, I think a place like webuy cars or a dealer will undervalue it big time.

For interest, I see a guy has his diesel advertised on the 4x4community forum for R350k. A 2005 with 260000kms on. Not sure if hes to high or low, but anyway.

Hopefully more guys will chime in here with their thoughts though.

I saw that, there is also a very ambitious sale on Gumtree. Not so sure those values are realistic, but would be nice!

I was offered R140k from we buy cars today. I think that is a little low.

Sheesh, I'll give you R150k for it then!
Surely thats half what its actually worth.

I was kinda hopeful for R250k but am open to realistic offers.

The Patrol has to go soon. All the standing is doing her no good.

I paid R210k at a dealer for my 2008 3.0TDi in great condition with 159k km on the clock, back in 2016.

I think that around R175k to R190k for a good condition 2008 model with that mileage would be the ballpark.
