That Patrol may require a new rear main seal, I have had someone look it over and it seems like a decent buy, as long as they fix the seal and a few other issues.

I offered 140, they wouldn't take it (or make a counter offer), which actually worked out for me.

What tickles me is that the dealers all want these kinda prices. But I've never heard of a dealer buying an older 4.8 for anywhere near that price. Last guy that came to look at my bakkie offered me R75k for my trol. I didn't let him stay long enough to buy my bakkie.

I've just spent the week up in GP looking for a vehicle and thought I'd let you guys know about the Patrols I found.

98 Blue 4500 belonging to Ignus (See his thread, viewtopic.php?f=65&t=8381) R 95 000
95 4200 with Ravi. Didn't have time to have good look but believe it's very clean. R 75 000
98 Green 4500 with Tony. Drives well but body panels are a bit rough. On Gumtree R89 999 I think.
2001 White 3.0L at a stand in Pretoria. Can't remember the name though, but where alllll the stands are. R100 000
200? White Not sure which motor, didn't stop R 149 000
98 Green 4500 Fully kitted, Chat to Oom Mac. Was my choice but wasn't yet available.

I actually had a brief look at it too. It did look good, just dirty like all webuycars vehicles. Only thing I noticed was the rear number plate lamp was hanging.
