Iam very happy with the results....the diesels did very well....i must say they just sound wrong on the dino.....love the sound but when the ref like that a person waits for spares to come out that gutter of a exhaust :rolling:
what i also saw was that there is a very small window on them about 2000 rpm where they come alive .
The petrols have a much flatter kw curve probably why they do better in sand.....
anyway great day and great results. ....must say its not everyday that you stand next to your patrol doing 5500 rpm in 3rd gear ......that sounds sweeeeeet.... :salute:

Tinus that is exactly it.... we in fact have between 1800 rpm and 3200 rpm to play with the power we have that's only only 1400rpm to use if we do soft sand driving. But then from 900 - 1200 rpm is our sweet spot for rock driving

Dankie Oom Mac vir die organisering van die Dyna dag by SAC Boksburg.
Dit was great gewees.

Baie dankie.

Gents,

Looks like you had a great day. Sorry I missed it. As for the figures were these corrected and number on the wheels ?

Grant,

These were corrected numbers, on the flywheel.
Wheel size was not taken into account

Hahahahahahaha.... Ian, come now brother.... we still like you. But my Iron Maiden and Michael's Patrol are VERY similar, with maybe 0.1 bar difference in boost pressure. So the figures speak very loud this morning !!!

Michael those are some impressive figures mate !!!
Thanks Cedric

After our previous dyno day I thought my Patrol could do with some extra fuel as it didnt produce enough smoke....... It now does and power is quite a bit more so I am very happy with the results
