I took the plunge and bought new tyres. If anyone is interested in my old tyres(Powertrac Power rover Mud Terrain 285/75/16) you are welcome to collect them from the tyre shop.

They are around 2 years old and aren't in good shape. They have many snottys in them and at least 3 have sidewall repairs. I did not feel safe driving with them anymore because of this. However they are available to collect. On Monday 12th they will be disposed of by the tyre shop so basically you only have Saturday 9th March between 8am and 1pm to collect them.

For the sake of fairness, please mention here in this thread whether you want them and send me a PM and I'll tell you where they can be collected. They are in the Pretoria area.

I still have the towbar from my 4.8 wasting space in the garage. Free to good home...
