Finally got around to reading the regs today.
I see I am not eligible, due to my home-made bumper. Now I wonder which manufacturer's bumpers are eligible. Obviously ARB, TJM etc. will all be fine, but what about SA products like G-Tech's, BG Auto, Stofpad etc?
Anyway, will negotiate with the government to see if she will allow me to come and issist.

Sounds a bit borderline to me?
When exactly can a bumper be deemed ineligible?
Where do you draw the line?

Peter, I think the best way forward here is to just register you as an "accredited manufacturer".
By the same token, anyone who has fitted your bash plates are also now deemed ineligible?
You have probably supplied more parts to Patrols than most dealerships in the past year.
But seriously, I'm sure no-one can fault that bumper as ineligible. Can't you just clear it with the organizers?

Peter, your bumper is fine. I understand it that they don't want people to enter with "pipe" type vehicles. You Patrol is pretty much standard, with a "standard" type bumper, that has modifications to suit your needs, this doesn't give you any other advantage over my JTM bumper for example.... Work nicely with the government, and we will see you there !!!!
