Just a great thank you to all who arranged everything, Moegatle and their folk for hosting, and all who attended. Liana and myself enjoyed tremendously.

Apologies for not joining on the route on Saturday, but I have mentioned my reasons for this in earlier posts. Also, with the amount of stress and stuff in my life the last few months, I really could not picture myself in a truck for the whole day, and it was awesome just to be able to "chillax" on Saturday and do absolutely nothing.

A final note: the girlfriend (it still feels weird referring to a girlfriend at my dinosaur age) was very impressed by how welcome everyone made her feel and how fantastic everybody was. She has mentioned to me on several occasions that "dis die mees awestomste mense wat ek al ontmoet het". I told her it's because we drive Patrols, maarnouwat.
