Maybe a little diesel pump timing, and a little bit more fuel and it will chugga chugga like a 4.2 six cylinder again...
Well done on this rebuild !!

Rudolph wrote: ↑20 Oct 2017 08:31 It is running smoothly when driven, on idle however the rev counter goes up and down few rpm, as the engine makes whooo whooo whooo, idle is not that smooth compared to before rebuild, not sure yet why this is.
Feels a bid stiff but that is most likely how it should be for new engine.
I do think that it is on the lean side, as EGT's is not getting higher than 410deg C 3rd gear flat out 3000rpm uphill, level road so far 5th 120km/hr 350-360deg C EGT.
Christo het jy nog die silencer?ChristoSlang wrote: ↑28 Aug 2017 19:01
'n 3" pyp sal perfek werk!
Rudolph wrote: ↑20 Oct 2017 08:31 It is running smoothly when driven, on idle however the rev counter goes up and down few rpm, as the engine makes whooo whooo whooo, idle is not that smooth compared to before rebuild, not sure yet why this is.

Is die idle refs al beter?
